The Role

Are you a research & data insight professional who has a passion for data, working within an organisation that understands its importance to help inform decision making, shape our corporate plans and service delivery?

If so, we’re recruiting a Research and Data Insight Manager to lead the function; working closely with the Director of Planning and Performance, you will support the business and inform decision making through a range of analysis and research including stock and key market intelligence, strategic research, impact evaluations, customer insight and operational data analysis.

Midland Heart’s mission? To be a leading housing organisation, delivering homes and services across the Midlands that enable people to live independently. We achieve this through hiring the best people who share our vision and values.

To make a success of this role, you will already come equipped with strong technical experience of applying analytical and research theory, techniques and methods – alongside a proven ability to use a variety of IT formats including spatial and statistical analysis systems (GIS). Equally as important is your ability to use data (internal and external ‘open data’) to support decision making, influence our corporate plans, service delivery and to assess impact. You should therefore demonstrate a talent for communicating and presenting complex information in a simple, tailored, visual and creative way to a variety of audiences.

What do you get in return? Midland Heart is passionate about providing you with a great place to work. We will invest in supporting you throughout your career, together with a competitive salary and generous annual leave entitlement. We value diversity; whoever you are, you will be valued and respected in your role.

Interested? Please view the attached Role Profile and Behaviour Standards Framework for more information. To apply, please register on our candidate portal and submit a comprehensive CV alongside a cover letter of no more than two pages, clearly explaining how you meet the requirements of this role and which demonstrates your career achievements.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5th October 2018.

Recruitment Agencies please note that we do not accept speculative CVs and should one be submitted, we will assume the candidate is our own.
