The Role

Are you a part-qualified management accountant wanting to develop your career within a highly commercial Finance function? If so, we’re seeking a Junior Finance Business Partner to assist in the driving of Midland Heart’s financial performance in line with our all-important Corporate Plan.

With support and guidance from a highly professional team, you will develop experience of the full range of Finance Business Partnering activities with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Identifying trends and providing budget performance feedback to the business for area of responsibility.
  • Regularly meeting with budget managers to ensure robust and accurate budget monitoring, challenging manager and providing advice when required.
  • Providing relevant financial information on which forecasts are prepared for the required business area.

Our ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA ACMA) with experience of producing management accounts, budgetary control and a good knowledge of Excel (Lookups, sumif, pivot tables etc.). Essential is the key skill that distinguishes a Finance Business Partner – the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders to provide the accurate and relevant financial information and advice which informs business decisions.
