The Role
Midland Heart now have fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Retirement Living Scheme Oakwood Lodge in Willenhall.
This post is temporary to cover maternity leave.
As a Kitchen Assistant you are required to assist in the preparation and presentation of meals and working to instructions as well as on your own initiative. You will assist in serving menu items to customers during the schemes service times. You are responsible for assistance with loading service counters and ensuring that all tables are cleaned and re-laid as and when required.
We are looking for people who:
- Have a Food Safety Level 2 qualification – or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Have experience of working within commercial kitchens.
- Can deliver outstanding customer service for all customers and staff members.
- Has a good knowledge of good practise relating to the catering industry.
