The Role

Midland Heart has an exciting opportunity for an Agency, Mutual and Commercial Leasehold Manager to join our busy Home Options team, managing our Commercial portfolio, Agency lease schemes and the legal aspects of our mutual schemes.

Reporting to the Head of Home Options this role will be responsible for:

  • A review of the commercial and agency portfolio service, including devising improvement plans that are consistent with our strategic goals.
  • The demutualisation project ensuring that the programme stays on plan, which will include effective communication with the mutual and their committees, solicitors, finance and staff within the Retirement Living directorate.
  • Leading the lease management process of the Mutual Schemes including overseeing head lease and under lease extensions. Provide advice and support on leasehold management.

We’re seeking an individual who already possesses a working knowledge of managing commercial and property leases. Our ideal candidate will also have an understanding of mutual schemes and the legal aspects associated with them.

Strong communications skills are essential; as is the ability to work proactively and use your own initiative to ensure you provide the best service possible.
