Are you a Financial Accountant looking to further develop your career within a fast-paced and dynamic Finance Team? Do you seek a finance role offering variety - supporting a range of diverse areas, from the production and consolidation of statutory accounts to month end accounting?

If so, we’re recruiting for just such an accountant capable of:

• Producing annual statutory accounts for each of our mutual companies in accordance with their differing year ends, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines.
• Assisting the production of group year-end accounts and preparation for audit.
• Assisting the production of month-end management information, ensuring business critical management information is provided in a timely manner.
• Acting as one of the key points of contact for the external auditors.

This role would be ideal for someone who is in the final stage of their qualification, or a passed finalist (ACCA, ACMA, CA or ACA). If you are looking to build upon the knowledge gained throughout your qualification and develop the skills gained from previous experience in a similar financial accounting role, this role is for you. You will also have the opportunity to work with other teams within the Finance Department, to expand your knowledge further.

Experience in financial reporting and month/year end close processes is a must, along with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You should possess good knowledge Microsoft Excel and the ability to use it, along with your attention to detail, to identify trends, errors and areas for improvement. The role will allow a level of autonomy and decision making, so you must have the ability to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision; however you will be supported by the Senior Financial Accountant to grow and develop in the role.
