The Role

Are you an experienced Retirement Living & Support Services professional, with a strong track record of operational / area management? Can you drive the performance and operational effectiveness of our Coventry and Northampton based schemes, ensuring they provide high quality accommodation and care whilst returning a healthy financial contribution?

We’re seeking an Area Manager to be the key link between our Director of Retirement Living and defined schemes. You will ensure that high standards are being maintained, our services are safe and that schemes are engaged with our organisation as whole - with an understanding of the strategy, direction of travel and objectives of the wider business. Maintaining oversight of scheme performance, you'll share your knowledge, coaching and developing Scheme Managers to deliver outstanding services.

You’ll have great people skills coupled with business acumen, showing a passion and enthusiasm for leading your team to deliver and improve quality services for vulnerable people. Knowledge or previous experience of working with older people, the challenges faced by vulnerable people with care and support needs and how those needs may be met in line with regulatory and contractual requirements are essential.

What do you get in return? Midland Heart is passionate about providing you with a great place to work alongside our CIPD award winning reward initiative. We invest in our employees by providing learning and development opportunities, alongside a competitive salary and generous annual leave entitlement. We value diversity; whoever you are, you will be valued and respected in your role.

Interested? Please view the attached Role Profile and Behaviour Standards Framework for more information. To apply, please register on our candidate portal and submit a comprehensive CV alongside a cover letter of no more than 2 pages, clearly explaining how you meet the requirements of this role and which demonstrates your career achievements.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5th July 2018.

Recruitment Agencies please note that we do not accept speculative CVs and should one be submitted, we will assume the candidate is our own.
