The Role

We’re seeking a Payroll Specialist (12 month fixed term), to use their expertise to analyse the payroll data we hold as part of the HMRC Social Care Compliance Scheme. This is a challenging project role primarily focusing on spreadsheet work, however there will be a large proportion of payslip by payslip reviews spanning several years of data in from our historic, pre-ResourceLink Payroll system.

Our mission? To be a leading housing organisation, delivering homes and services across the Midlands that enable people to live independently. We achieve this through hiring the best people who share our vision and values.

This role will take ownership of a key project within our payroll team which has no margin for error. We therefore want to hear from CIPP qualified candidates with Proven Payroll supervisory, project and administration experience, coupled with an extremely keen eye for detail. Intermediate / advanced Excel skills are absolutely essential to making a success of this project, meaning the use of VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Mail Merge formula to data etc. should be second nature.

What do you get in return? Midland Heart is passionate about providing you with a great place to work alongside our CIPD award winning reward initiative. We invest in our employees by providing learning and development opportunities, alongside a competitive salary and generous annual leave entitlement. We value diversity; whoever you are, you will be valued and respected in your role.

If this opportunity has piqued your interest, please view the attached Role Profile and Behavior Standards Framework for more information. To apply, please register on our candidate portal and submit a comprehensive CV alongside a cover letter of no more than 2 pages, clearly explaining how you meet the requirements of this role and which demonstrates your career achievements.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications is 28th March 2018.

Recruitment Agencies please note that we do not accept speculative CVs and should one be submitted, we will assume the candidate is our own.
