The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced internal communications professional to join our dynamic Communications and External Affairs team.

You’ll have a track record of creating engaging and creative communications to connect with a diverse audience. You’ll be comfortable with building relationships with a wide variety of internal teams across the organisation. You’ll know what works best, and be confident to challenge assumptions when needed. You will act as an advisor to key teams such as HR and our front line Operations teams.

Midland Heart is one of the UK’s leading Housing Associations with over 70,000 customers living in around 33,000 homes across 55 local authorities.  Midland Heart’s mission is to be the leading Housing Association in the Midlands helping people to live independently and building high quality new homes.

We’re looking for someone who can shape key messages and deliver communications on time across a variety of channels to almost 2000 members of staff. You will be key to communicating our corporate strategy, ensuring that our employees understand why it is important to their role and bring them on-board with our mission and values. That could be done through an awards event, briefing, blog, film, news article or infographic on our intranet.
