The Role

We have fantastic opportunites for Care and Support Workers to join our Retirement Living scheme at Poppy Court, Coventry. This includes a number of day shifts (18, 21, 27 hours), night shift (27 hours) and also Bank (zero hour) contracts.

You will be working within our Older Persons Services, offering person centred care and support to customers based on their individual risk and needs assessment and care and support plan, both devised with the customer to promote choice, independence and empower them to live a fulfilled and active life.

You will be responsible for assisting customers with medication and liaising with other professionals to support the customer’s health and wellbeing. You will also be participating in the schemes activity planner, providing a range of social activities to our customers. 

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality services to vulnerable people.
  • Are able to demonstrate empathy whilst enabling people to maximise their independence
  • Able to offer close personal care, for example assistance to support bathing

The hourly rate for Bank workers is £7.62ph
