The Role

 

We are currently looking for a Rough Sleepers Outreach Worker, who is customer focused and has the skills to engage with vulnerable customers and actively support them to accept assistance and access housing. Your role will require good record keeping skills and the ability to participate in and promote multi-agency working, including joint outreach with partner agencies, including substance misuse agencies, police, fire service and the local authority.

Your role entails seeking out and actively engaging with rough sleepers and people at risk of sleeping rough. You will provide support and assistance to individuals to enable them to secure suitable accommodation and meet their immediate needs. You will assist in enabling customers to gain and maintain sustained independent living and fully participate within their community.

Must have a current driving licence and at least one years experience
