The Role

We are currently looking to invite potential new team members in to see us for an exciting future opportunity within our Housing Management Hub. You must be a customer focused, committed, and positive individual who can deal with customer enquiries through phone calls, digital methods and face to face if required.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills to provide our customers with a first class customer service in order to deliver a first call resolution.

The recruitment process will involve an opportunity to shadow one of our experienced officers so you can get to see the role first hand as well as an informal chat with the management team. If we do not have a current role for you and you are the right person for the job, we will keep your details and be in regular contact with you until you are able to join the team

All of our vacancies are initially recruited as a six-month temporary contract; however, there is usually the opportunity to be considered for a full time permanent position if successful within the role.

We are looking for people who:

  • As the first point of contact to our customers, you will present a positive impression of Midland Heart, listening to the customer and understanding their query.
  • Have the ability to take ownership and ensure first time resolution for a variety of customer calls.
  • Meet and exceed customer’s expectations.
  • Work well within a team environment.

If you are supportive, dedicated, customer focused and want to make a difference in your local community, then we would love to hear from you.

In return, we offer:

  • A competitive salary which is regularly reviewed and benchmarked with the market
  • 25 days holidays plus bank holidays rising to 30 days after qualifying period
  • Company pension
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Shopping & leisure discounts
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Regular tailored training & personal development plans

If you are a disabled candidate and require a hard copy pack or a different format, for example large print, please contact the HR department on 0845 850 1020 ext 6463.

Please do read the role profile before you begin your application. CVs will not be considered, so please complete the application form in full.

Midland Heart aspires to be a digital organisation that minimises its impact on the environment. Wherever possible, we will conduct transactions digitally rather than by paper and ask that current and future employees share this commitment. Where required, we will support colleagues to be digitally enabled.
