The Role

Do you want a job that really makes a difference? We now have a fantastic opportunity for Care & Support Worker to join our Retirement Living service at Bevan Court, Coventry.  The position we are offering is a part time 28 hour so this offers all the flexibility that you would need.

Working in Retirement Living, you are responsible for the day to day Care & Support of our Older People, ensuring that individuals needs are assessed and met through a person centred care and support plan whilst maximising independence and quality of service.  As a Care and Support Worker, you will provide personal care, carry out domestic duties, activity planning and involvement, updating care and support plans and will provide an active support to our customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, work well as part of a team and understand the issues and requirements of older people. 

This role does involve shift work including weekends and bank holidays and shifts can be allocated at various locations across your locality and will also be rota based.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality services to vulnerable people.
  • Are able to demonstrate empathy whilst enabling people to maximise their independence
  • Able to offer close personal care, for example assistance to support bathing
