The Role

Midland Heart has an exciting opportunity for Relief Scheme Managers to join our Retirement Living and Care Services department across various schemes within the West Midlands.  This is currently being offered on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.  

As a Relief Scheme Manager you are responsible for carrying out a range of tasks in the absence of a Scheme Manager to ensure the daily well-being of residents and the efficient running of the scheme. You will also be responsible for administering the scheme on a day to day basis, ensuring the security of the buildings, dealing with emergencies and ensuring maintenance and repairs are undertaken. As part of your duties you will assist and monitor the general welfare of residents and promote their safety, independence and happiness.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality services to vulnerable people.
  • Are able to demonstrate empathy whilst enabling people to maximise their independence.
  • Are able to travel to various locations.
