The Role

Building relationships is at the heart of what we do. So it’s no surprise we’re so passionate about our people. After all, they’re just as passionate about the communities we serve.

We’re committed to becoming one of the most efficient providers of affordable housing and community investment services. And while we exist to put customers first, create opportunity and enthuse our customers, we also strive to create an ambitious, inclusive place to work, where we recognise that every single one of us makes a difference.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Asbestos & Compliance Support Officer, to support in the delivery of all Asbestos works from first point of contact for the customer. This is an exciting learning opportunity for an individual with clear knowledge and understanding of compliance audits, inspections or reviews. You will also  support the compliance team with the management of any overdue, non compliant properties and work very closely with Midland Heart Neighbourhood, Care and Support and Legal teams negating silo working in gaining access to properties and completing FRA actions.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of achieving challenging performance targets and basic knowledge and awareness of Asbestos management and other Landlord Compliance obligations. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, innovative and customer focused individual, who will act as supporting office  for Asbestos & Compliance issues.

So, if you are a strong and organised individual with the ability to motivate and inspire, then we would like to hear from you. In return, we offer a generous reward package.

All successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure Barring Service check and costs will be met by Midland Heart.

If you are a disabled candidate and require a hard copy pack or a different format, for example large print, please contact the HR department on 0845 850 1020 ext 6257.

Please do read the role profile before you begin your application. CVs will not be considered, so please complete the application form in full.
